CQR stands for
"Compliance – Quality – Reimbursement"
This is
the core of the Encompass philosophy.
It can also be
interpreted as "secure", which is how we hope our members will feel
about their provision of therapy services and complying with Medicare
regulations.
We offer
six different
levels of membership, one of which we hope will meet your
needs. Our basic membership include consulting services, a monthly
e-zine, the "CQR Report" and access to a Q&A web page; other levels
include the standard services plus additional member services depending
on the level chosen.
Membership Levels & Annual Fee

These services are available to
members either by phone, fax or e-mail. These services are
available to address any Medicare compliance issues. Hours above
the membership level are available at a discounted rate.

Quarterly Newsletter |
The newsletter is published at the beginning of each quarter. It includes items on Compliance Issues; Billing and
Coding; Documentation; and Government Reports and is available by e-mail. |

Q&A Page on Website |
Frequently asked questions and
answers is available to members-only via our website. Members
are encouraged to take advantage of this benefit as it will
augment the consulting services. It is added to and updated as
changes occur. |

Monthly E-zine
|
The e-zine will keep you updated with any changes or
items of interest; also included is a Q&A section. |
|
Alert Notices |
E-mail or fax notices of
regulation changes by CMS that are specific to your site of
service with interpretation of required modifications . |

Notification of Changes from
your Contractor |
Notice of any
changes or addition to LCDs proposed by your contractor. This
will assist you in being proactive and enable you to make your
opinions known in cases of changes that you believe will be
detrimental to your patient or profession. Identification of
your contractor on your application is required for this
service. |

Lunch Bunch |
The Lunch Bunch is intended to provide information to
you and/or your staff members in different topics concerning
Medicare and related subjects.
The Lunch Bunch is available

Chart Audits
|
Outpatient Audit Services:
Audits of six chart are performed off-site, normally four
current and two discharged charts, and includes a written report
of finding. The audit reviews all relevant information
including, documentation, billing and compliance with physician
orders, etc.
SNF:
Part A Audit Services: Audits of four chart are performed
off-site, normally three current and one discharged chart, and
includes a written report of findings. The audit will review all
relevant information including therapy documentation, MDS,
billing and compliance with physician orders.
SNF: Part B audits are the same as Outpatient Audits. |

Assistance with form
development |
Assistance with member developed
forms/documentation is provided. This includes time with staff
member(s) to discuss appropriateness of form and any recommended
changes. |

Off-site Audits |
Off-site audits are available to
all members on an "as needed" basis. The cost for the standard
SNF or Outpatient audit is $400. Audits of individual charts are
$100 for Outpatient, $150 for SNF Part A. |

Webcasts |
Webcast training of staff on customized
topics relating to your clinic or facility. This is an excellent
resource, especially as a follow up to a chart audit where
concerns are identified or as part of your compliance program.

Additional Consulting Services |
Additional consultation
services are available at a discounted rate. This discount can
be applied to both offsite and on-site services. On-site service
fee includes audits and systems review; meetings with staff
and/or management with verbal report of findings; education of
staff as required and a full written report within 5 business
days. Usual and reasonable expenses for hotel, travel and meals

Membership Information
Membership Categories:
SNF: Covers both Part A and
Part B
Rehab Agency or CORF:
Covers Part B services paid under institutional providers
Therapists in Private Practice:
Covers Part B services.
Membership is effective as of the
1st of the month following enrollment and can be upgraded at any time
during the membership period with the additional fee pro-rated. Annual
renewal will be based on initial enrollment date.
Prices are based on a
single member, clinic or facility (satellite offices billing through a
member are covered); additional same member category can be added to a
choice membership for an additional fee. Fees are based on type of
membership and any additional memberships requested. Contact the office for
additional pricing.
Payment for Choice memberships may be paid in three
monthly installments when guaranteed by credit card.
